The Squa Pan facility generates 1.4 megawatts of power and is located on the Aroostock River near Presque Isle, Maine. Electricity produced by the run-of-the-river facility is sold to serve local New Brunswick and Northern Maine loads. The Tinker facility is a 34.5-megawatt hydro generating facility located on the Aroostock River near Perth-Andover, New Brunswick. The run-of-the-river facility produces electricity that is sold to serve local New Brunswick and Northern Maine loads. In addition to the hydro facility, Tinker has a one-megawatt diesel-fired generator used for installed reserve capacity, not continuous generation. The Caribou hydro facility produces 900 kilowatts of power and is located on the Aroostock River near Caribou, Maine. Electricity produced by the run-of-the-river facility is sold to serve local New Brunswick and Northern Maine loads.
